The aims of the forum are:

  1. To develop and review biodiversity objectives and targets for the region.
  2. To champion the delivery of biodiversity objectives and targets within the South East of England.
  3. To enable, co-ordinate and service regional biodiversity monitoring, interpretation and reporting for regional bodies.

SEEBF is working for a region in which its wildlife is cherished because of the major contribution it makes towards people's quality of life, their prosperity and for its own sake. Where the loss of wildlife is halted, existing habitats and species populations are enhanced and by 2026 a significant amount of the major losses of the past have been reversed.
