Woodland Resource Mapping
Published by SEEBF 2010
SEEBF recognise that we will not hit the BAP targets and enhance the biodiversity of the South East unless we make positive links between economic drivers and support for wildlife. The region's woodlands are dependent on ongoing management, and our aim is to help ensure that this management is supported wherever possible by sustainable markets, including charcoal and wood fuel production. Please see the SEBs woodland resource mapping page for more information

National Indicator 197
National Indicator 197 measures the performance of Local Authorities at protecting and improving their local biodiversity. It is a calculation of the "proportion of Local Sites where positive conservation management has been or is being implemented". The SEEBF leaflet, produced with support and help from Natural England and BBOWT provides information and guidance on this indicator.
