Making Biodiversity Work - The second SEEBF Conference (26 May 2010)

There is an increasing awareness and interest in the services that are provided by our natural environment. Hand-in-hand with this there are numerous attempts to place values on these services. This conference focused on the use of ecosystem services, potential methods for valuing these services and then went on to explore the potential for business involvement in the delivery of biodiversity targets.

 

Workshop exploring the future and role of UK biodiversity partnerships (9 June 2009)

A day of discussion and planning for the local and regional biodivcersity officers and the chairs of the partnerhsips. This focused on traslating the England Biodiversity Strategy framework, Securing Biodiversity, into action and delivery at a local level.

  

First SEEBF Conference (6 Mar 2009)

The first South East England Biodiversity Forum Conference was held on the 6th of March in Reading. Workshops and presentations focused on the new South East Biodiversity Strategy and it's what it means for local delivery.
