There is an increasing awareness and interest in the services that are provided by our natural environment. Hand-in-hand with this there are numerous attempts to place values on these services. The first part of the conference focused on:

Working with Business
Involving the business community in biodiversity conservation is crucial but not always straightforward. In the afternoon there were presentations on working with business for biodiversity including examples from a number of businesses that have been working with the South East England Biodiversity Forum since the launch of the South East Biodiversity Strategy.

Workshop
The workshop aimed to identify further opportunities for engaging with the business community and linking the work for biodiversity with the delivery of ecosystem services. The output from this workshops will shape the future work of SEEBF. Please follow this link for a copy of the workshop output.
