South East England Biodiversity Forum are committed to making information available and easily accessible to the public through this website.

The site conforms to level A of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

The layout takes into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using a mouse. It is fully compatible with popular screen reading software, and can be navigated using just a keyboard. Access keys can be used to move quickly to common pages without the need for a mouse. To make a shortcut using just your keyboard, hold down the Alt key  at the same time as pressing one of the following:

  • 0 - Home
  • 2 - Site map
  • s - Search
  • t  - Top navigation
  • c - Content

Then press 'Enter' if using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

The size of the text on this site can be increased or decreased.:

  • On Microsoft Internet Explorer Hold Alt + V Then press X followed by Return (Enter)
  • On Mozilla Hold Ctrl + Plus or Minus (or scroll) , Ctrl and 0 (zero) to reset
  • On Netscape Hold Alt + V Then press Z followed by 0 (zero) (or replace the 0 with 2 for extra large text)
  • On Opera Hold Alt + V Then press Z followed by 0 (zero). Opera also allows you to press the + and - on the keypad to increase and decrease the size respectively.

Documents that are available to download on this site are frequently in PDF (Portable Document Format). You will need Adobe Acrobat viewer to read these, a software programme that can be downloaded from the Adobe website.
